Mayson got a camera

Well, we have been working all summer on potty training.  We have had several potty charts, have bribed with marshmallows, M&M's, stickers, stars, treats, toys, etc.  We finally made a breakthrough after asking Mayson what she wanted to "work" toward. She decided that if she peed in the potty ten times, she would get to buy her own camera.  I have no idea why she would pick that...it's not like she ever sees me use a camera :) Anyway, we drew a picture of a camera and decided that if she got 10 stars, she could get one.  She set her mind to it, and over about a week time period, she finally did it! She had a great time taking pictures of everything the minute she got the camera.  We have pictures of a large variety of things, as I am sure you could imagine when giving a toddler a camera.  She even got a selfie in there. Here are a few of our gallery favorites:

Ferry and Gasworks Park

Mayson, Gray, and I took an impromptu ferry trip with friends on a beautiful summer evening.  The sunset was beautiful over the mountains, water, and city.  Later in the week we spent a fun afternoon at Gasworks, kicking around the soccer ball and posing Gray around the park for his photo ops.
