Berry Picking
Fun day picking berries at Biringer Farm with Sydney and Carrie. Gray did not pick a single berry (too messy), but Mayson went crazy for us on the blackberries! Yum!

Sandbox Building
My little helpers made a plan to build a backyard sandbox. Mayson drew up the plan and made a list for the hardware store. We walked up and purchased our shovels and materials, then got to work hauling rocks and digging out space. Now we just need the sand! Updates pending!

4th of July
Poor Mayson woke up with the flu so the fourth wasn't so fun for her. We thought she could handle watching the Bothell parade but threw up in the car upon arrival. So she and Keri took a little nap in the car while Gray and I scooped up candy and watched the marching bands and cars float on by.

First day of summer freedom!
After the kids helped me wrap up at work, we had our first official day of summer! We had a great lunch date at University Village. Love these two, and can't wait for a fantastic summer.

Last Day of School
Last day of school (for me)! Mayson went to Angie's with Gray and they got to have a surprise reunion with Noah, Molly, and Will. Then a fun play date with everyone at Willis Tucker to celebrate!

Last Day of Preschool
Mayson's two years at Small World Montessori finally came to an end. She loved her friends and teachers so much, she was devastated to leave them. I have never seen her so genuinely saddened- she didn't want to drive away and leave Miss Neeshma, Ms. Gloria, Ms. Nichol, Miss Katie, and all her friends. Here's some pictures from the last day teddy bear picnic and the sad goodbye.

Adventures in basketball
The first basketball season at the Shoreline YMCA has come to an end for the Purple Knights! An even quicker end for Gray who only liked the first practice or two. Mayson did awesome and showed a fun, aggressive side and some good skills! Gray loved playing Red Light, Green Light, and then he pretty much laid on the floor. He's three so we are okay. There's always next year!
